Terms of Use

1. Who can join

By joining, you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract under Indian law;
• you are a student of the IIT you choose and you control the institute email address you verify;
• the details you give us are true, and you will keep them up to date;
• you will have only one account, for your own use; and
• you have not been removed from ENIP before.

The website is offered to users in India. We may refuse, suspend or remove any account that we reasonably believe is fake, duplicate or misused.

2. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your IIT email. Keep access to that mailbox secure: you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@enip.ai if you think someone else is using it.

3. What the website offers

ENIP helps IIT students reach seniors for guidance on internships, placements, CVs and more. It is in early access, and features and limits may change.

• During this early phase, chats are answered by the YAL team and Entrepreneurs in Residence, who are always labelled as such. Profiles marked as sample data are examples.
• Free accounts have limits on chats and messages. Some replies are shown in full only after joining or unlocking with points.
• We do not promise a reply within any time, a job, an internship, an admission or any other outcome.
• Guidance from seniors, the team or an instant CV score is general information, not professional, legal, financial or career advice. Decide for yourself before acting on it.

4. Waitlist, referrals and points

• Your waitlist place depends on when you joined and on the friends you refer. A referral counts only when your friend verifies their own IIT email. We may change how the waitlist works.
• Points are earned through the website and can be spent only on the website. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money.
• Referring yourself, creating fake or duplicate accounts, or any trick to gain places or points is not allowed. We may remove places, points or accounts gained this way.

5. Your conduct

You agree to follow the ENIP Community Guidelines and not to:

• break any law, or use the website for anything unlawful;
• pretend to be someone else, or misstate your identity, IIT or affiliation;
• harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone, or post hateful, obscene or defamatory content;
• share someone else's personal data without permission;
• send spam, advertising or chain messages, or ask anyone for money;
• use bots or scrapers, or try to access accounts, data or systems you are not allowed to; or
• upload viruses or anything designed to harm the website.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms, and report illegal activity to the authorities.

6. Your content

You own the messages and CVs you share. You allow us to store them and show them to the YAL team only to run the website: to reply to you, give feedback on your CV and keep the platform safe. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the law requires us to keep it.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you upload, and that it does not break anyone else's rights or these Terms. We do not use your messages to train AI models.

7. Reporting and grievances

Report any content or behaviour that breaks these Terms, or anything that worries you, to support@enip.ai. We review reports within 24 hours, and within shorter times where the law requires. If you think we removed something by mistake, write to us within 30 days and we will review the decision.

In an emergency, call 112. To report cyber crime, call 1930 or visit cybercrime.gov.in.

8. Our content and brand

The website, its design, guides, software and the ENIP name and logo belong to Echelonera Technologies Private Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, sell or reverse-engineer them, except as the law allows.

9. Disclaimers

The website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for how other people act on or off the website.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Echelonera Technologies Private Limited and its directors, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of these Terms, your content or your conduct towards others, to the extent the law allows.

12. Ending your use

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@enip.ai from your IIT email. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the law, or if we stop offering the website. Sections 8 to 11 and 14 continue to apply after that.

13. Data Protection Officer and grievances

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to handle questions, requests and complaints about your personal data and this website:

If your complaint is not resolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India after using this grievance process.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to settle any dispute in good faith within 30 days. If that fails, it will be resolved by arbitration before three arbitrators under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Hyderabad, Telangana. Subject to this, the courts of Hyderabad have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you by email. Using the website after a change means you accept it.

16. General

If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines are the whole agreement between you and us about this website.
